Bojangles’ Restaurants, Inc. has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) who will be responsible for supporting, managing, and facilitating the working relationship within Supply Chain & QA departments. At times the QAC will be required to communicate with Cross Functional Departments, Franchisees/Operators, Suppliers, and Service Providers on specific Supply Chain & QA issues, initiatives and inquiries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preserve and protect the Bojangles’ Brand by supporting company, brand and department initiatives
Coordinate and lead the following tasks:
• Direct inbound communication and documents to the appropriate department team member
• Management of Supply Chain and QA records, documents, correspondence, and reports
• Manage within scope company restaurant, franchise restaurant, distributor and service provider issues
• Participate in LTOs and support Marketing Calendar activities
• Coordinate Bojangles’ product specifications process
• Conduct product evaluations for specification compliance
• Log and communicate to QA and Supply Chain receiving of samples
• Maintain Health Inspection Reports
• Support strategic Bid/RFP work plan
• Create, analyze, and communicate relevant reports to support business needs for QA and Purchasing teams
• Participate in Core and Cross Functional team meetings as necessary
• Coordinate Project Management initiatives/processes
• Coordinate QA Incident Reporting process with operations and vendors to close out the reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and Coordinate projects (from start to finish) effectively
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of Excel
• Ability to interact with all levels of external suppliers and internal Bojangles’ family members
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Professional, courteous, reliable and mature
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• All other future task/responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to work effectively across many internal functional groups to optimize product offerings and issue resolution
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build team and teamwork for business proprieties and deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently “Global Task”
• Strong relationship-development skills resulting in long term mutually beneficial client - customers’ relationships
• Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and timelines
• Ability to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge in identifying quality, efficient and effective solutions
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high volume environment
• Tenacious ability to drive work load both independently and collaboratively toward the successful attainment of department and system goals with project completion dates or before
• Capable to communicate project and status updates to team and cross-functionally to ensure alignment
• Ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude
• Professional, courteous, reliable and mature
• Strong organizational, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks
• Wiliness to embrace on-going change to support the Brand, Growth and System Initiative / Priorities
• Supports current readily available and changing future state technology “off-shelf”, customized technology
• Examples but not limited to: Apple/Android, Microsoft devices, iTrade, Footprints, Clarizen and all future state evolution of technology available

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BS/BA Preferred (Food Science degree a plus)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Supply Chain
• Previous Restaurant industry knowledge required
